BREAKING NEWS: Two charged in Steele County murder
The Steele County Attorney has charged the two suspects arrested in last week’s murder of a Medford man.
Cyrus Trevino 24, of Owatonna has been charged with second-degree murder and Gerald Blevins, 36, Bemidji, has been charged with aiding and abetting second-degree murder.
Both are schedule to make their first court appearances Thursday morning in Steele County. Prosecutors alleged Trevino shot Richard Jurgensen, 22, multiple times, bound his hands and dumped his body on a gravel road northeast of Owatonna on June 26.
In the complaint the investigation uncovered that Trevino believed Jurgensen was police drug informant against him and his friend.
The Times will have more on this as it comes available.
