BREAKING NEWS: Icy roads caused three car accident near Claremont

The winter slick roads where the cause of a three car accident this morning near Claremont that involved a Dodge Center resident, Adam Booth, 35. Booth, according to Minnesota State Patrol, was headed westbound on Highway 14 around 11:26 a.m. Tuesday. Booth lost control of his Dodge Durango, crossed the centerline and hit an eastbound Ford pickup and eastbound GMC Envoy.

The driver of the Ford pickup was not injured, but the driver of the Envoy, Boonielou Berg, 58, suffered non life-threatening injuries and was taken to Owatonna Hospital.

According to Minnesota State Patrol, the roads were icy at the time of the crash.
