Taylor Cierra Zylstra-Sletten, 16, West Concord
Taylor Cierra Zylstra-Sletten, 16, of West Concord, died Thursday, April 11, 2019 at her home.
She was born May 21, 2002 in Owatonna, the daughter of Christine Janke and David Zylstra. Taylor attended Blooming Prairie Schools through sixth grade at which time she transferred to Kenyon-Wanamingo School District. She played softball for K-W and loves to work on her car and build and drive derby cars.
At the age of 14, Taylor was already an accomplished welder and at age 16, Taylor proved over and over again that there was nothing she couldn’t fix or build. Her passion and determination on any given project was relentless, making her take her projects to new heights.
Taylor is described as vibrant, full of life, charismatic, choosy, talented, beautiful and LOUD. She always put others first and had an engaging smile. Most of all, she was caring and loving of others before herself; especially her siblings.
