BREAKING NEWS: NEW DEVELOPMENTS IN RIESS MURDER
A Florida TV station has identified Lois Riess as a suspect in a Florida murder that took place earlier this week.
NBC 2 in Fort Myers reported Thursday night that U.S. Marshals have shifted their search to Florida this week after Riess was named a person of interest in a murder on Fort Myers Beach murder that happened Monday night.
Police believe Riess could be using the name of the most recent murder victim, Pamela Sellers Hutchinson. Sources confirmed to NBC 2 that Hutchinson is the victim of this week’s murder at Maina Village at Snug Harbor on Old San Carlos Boulevard.
Dodge County Sheriff Scott Rose told the Times and Independent that he expects to release more details Friday on the situation.

The Dodge County Sheriff has announced second-degree murder charges are now pending against Lois Riess for the murder of her husband David Riess.
Sheriff Scott Rose made the announcement Thursday afternoon. He said charges are pending with the Dodge County Attorney’s Office.
Rose also said police discovered Lois Riess’ 2005 Cadillac Escalade abandoned in Florida earlier this week. Investigators suspect she may now be driving a stolen white 2005 Acura TL with Florida license plate Y37TAA.
Riess is still considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to call 911 or the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office at 507-635-6200.
