BREAKING NEWS: FBI, Owatonna Police search for fugitive

The FBI has joined in the hunt with Owatonna Police for a fugitive that got by officers Monday night.

Police are looking for Martin Tyler Lampkin, 21. He was last seen in the area of the 100 block of North Grove in Owatonna around 8:45 p.m. Monday. 

Captain Eric Rethemeier said officers tried to apprehend Lampkin at a dwelling at 108 North Grove. As a search warrant was being drafted for the house, Lampkin fled the area on foot. A foot pursuit ensured, but the subject believed to be Lampkin got away, police said. 

Lampkin is wanted on several warrants, including felony first-degree burglary. Police said he was involved in home invasion robberies that took place in May. He is considered to be armed and dangerous. 

He is a black man, 5’8” and 165 pounds. He was last seen wearing a hooded gray sweatshirt.
