He will succeed current city administrator Mike Jones. His duties begin on Feb. 2, 2019.

Andrew Langholz is 31 years old and has been in his current position for three years.

Langholz attended Minnesota State University in Mankato.

Jones said 35 applied for the job initially. The group was then trimmed to 11 and finally to four. "Any one of the four could have stepped in and done a good job," said Jones. Jones will remain interim city administrator until Langholz arrives.
