For high school sports fans, it doesn’t really get any better than what has happened to area teams this past week.
Excitement is at an all-time high this week in Steele County as three schools are celebrating section championships.

The state defending champion Huskies walked all over Rochester Century 43-6 Friday night to capture the Class 5A Section 1 title. It is the fourth consecutive section championship for Owatonna. The Huskies now face St. Thomas Academy Saturday at 12 p.m. at Woodbury High School in the state quarterfinals.
