BP rolls on with second shutout

After a 46-0 shutout

at Rushford the open- ing week, the Awesome Blossom football team bettered that score by three points in a 49-0 battering over Wabasha-Kellogg in the Blossom home opener Friday, Sept. 6.

BP took a 34-0 lead into the halftime locker room and then coasted through the second half to complete the whitewash victory.

The Blossoms scored the

first touchdown in its first possession with Carson Brenneke kicking the first of his points after touch- down. Brenneke kicked 5

of 6 points after. Before the quarter ended, the home team scored two more touch- downs and had already gone into cruise motion.

BP counted the last 15 points in the third quarter and then let reserves run out the clock in the finaquarter.
