The Blooming Prairie Awesome Blossoms girls varsity basketball team sank five three-point shots in the first half to help catapult the Blossoms to a 52-47 victory over Hayfield Feb. 6.

The big Gopher Conference win pushed the Blossoms' season mark to 18-3 overall and to 10-2 in the conference.

Maggie Bruns dropped three three-point baskets in the first half and Julia Worke followed with two three-pointers. Hayfield kept pace with Cela Carney hitting three three-pointers.
