Zumbrota Ford donates to Triton School

Back in September, at Triton’s Homecoming festivities on Friday night, Triton Elementary School took part in an event sponsored by the Ford Company and Zumbrota Ford.

For several hours that evening Zumbrota Ford brought a number of new vehicles to the Triton Elementary parking lot and made them available for test drive. Everyone who took a test drive was asked to fill out a survey form. Ford agreed to donate $20 to Triton Elementary for every completed survey.

Recently the members of TEAM, the school’s parent-teacher organization, accepted a check for $4,380 as a result of the event.

In accepting the check, TEAM members said they wanted to thank Steve Johnson and the Johnson family from Zumbrota Ford for holding the event. They said they also wanted to thank Krejci Ford in Blooming Prairie for allowing Zumbrota Ford to do the event. Krejci Ford is the closest dealership to Dodge Center so Ford required that Krejci give its permission to allow Zumbrota Ford to provide the vehicles.

TEAM stands for Together Everybody Achieves More.
