20th annual Father’s Day Fly-In to take place Sunday

Whether you are an aviation enthusiast or just looking for a Sunday morning pancake breakfast the Dodge Center Airport is the place to be this Sunday for the 20th Annual Father’s Day Pancake Breakfast.
The event is hosted yearly by the Southeast Minnesota Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) Chapter 100.
There will be airplanes on display as well as pilots flying in from all over the area for breakfast, said Tom Hall of the EAA, Tom Hall of Chapter 100.
Serving will be from 7 a.m. to noon. The menu will include pancakes, scrambled eggs, ham, coffee, milk and orange juice. Cost will be $7 for adults, $5 for kids 4-12 and free for kids 3 and younger.
The Southeast Minnesota Chapter of EAA was founded in 1958 and has been in continuous operation since that time.
The fly-in pancake breakfast on Father’s Day is a well known event to area residents and pilots and offers a great opportunity for the chapter to work together and meet new friends.
The chapter also hosts a “Young Eagles Day” each year where members volunteer their time and aircraft to provide free education and aircraft rides to children 8-18.
